Position Title:
IT Recruitment Specialist


Reports to:
Recruitment Manager

Country/Business Unit:

Conduct various recruitment activities that will provide line managers with a suitable pool of applicants from which to select and negotiate to finalize contracts with candidates.


  • Conduct recruitment activities that provide line managers with a suitable pool of applicants from which to select and negotiate to finalize contracts with candidates
  • Liaise with line managers to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and preferences
  • Conduct competency-based interviews and use appropriate assessments
  • Source applicants who meet the specified criteria for the position
  • Make offers to successful applicants, negotiate when necessary and regret unsuccessful applicants
  • Check candidates’ references with their previous employers
  • Update the candidates’ database systems as required
  • Develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels and build recruitment materials for presentations, job fairs and open days
  • Be informed of developments in areas such as salaries, employee benefits, and department needs
  • Take a proactive approach to meet staffing requirements by attracting, sourcing and screening applicants using innovative techniques
  • Build effective working relationships with placement agencies, colleges, and universities for recruitment purposes
  • Select employment advertising methods when needed
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • College Graduate of any degree

Required Experience:

  • At least 1-year experience in a similar call center position
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee issues
